At ANTICIPATE, we are on a mission to build futures readiness, help create meaningful change, as well as democratise futures,** making foresight more accessible, more practical, and more widely used than it is today.

After close to three years of building ANTICIPATE, we want to do something a bit unusual: ****

We would like offer our time for free, as a one-off, to an impact-driven organisation.

</aside>

We’re still a business. We still believe people should be paid for their work in general. On top of this, payment creates seriousness and commitment on both sides.

So consider this is a one-time exception — and a high-value opportunity at that — and we’re doing it for three reasons:

→ Impact: We want to support an organisation that can use foresight to make better decisions, but wouldn’t normally prioritise or be able to access this kind of work.

→ Practice: We want to test a new strategic foresight process format that combines several frameworks and tools (new and old) we’ve been developing and refining. As part of a capstone project in the TAIDA process and on the back-end of research into how to best do foresight for strategy.

→ Learning in the open: In full transparency, we also want to turn the project into a public best-practice case that others can learn from and be inspired by.

What it is

A short, structured foresight + strategy project delivered as three virtual half-day workshops, with light work and synthesis in between.

We’ll be looking to address a focal question that you face on a strategic level. This does not need to be perfect before you apply, we can define it together early in the process.

The three phases

1. Environmental Scanning & Analysis

(mid-Feb to mid-March)

We build a shared outside-in picture of change:

Workshop 1 on Trend Analysis happens in this window.

2. Scenario Study

(mid-March to mid-April)

We develop a small set of plausible futures to stress-test your direction:

Workshop 2 on Scenario Building happens in this window.

3. Strategy Development + Action

(mid-April to mid-May)

We translate the insights into choices and next steps:

Workshop 3 on Strategy Development happens in this window.
